Terms of Service
Last updated: 12 October 2026
These terms apply when you create a Medalune account or use Medalune. By doing so you agree to them on behalf of your business. Please also read the Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use Medalune
- Medical stores and medicine distributors operating lawfully in India, through a person aged 18 or over who is allowed to act for the business.
- New accounts are reviewed before use. We may ask for, and verify, the GSTIN and drug licence numbers, and may decline an account.
2. Your account
- Keep passwords private. You are responsible for what is done with your logins.
- The owner decides who joins as staff and what each role can do. Remove staff who leave.
- Tell us quickly if you think an account has been misused.
3. Your responsibilities as a business
Medalune is a tool. Your business remains responsible for its legal duties, including under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 and its rules, GST law, and the rules on prescriptions, Schedule H, H1 and X medicines. In particular:
- Check bills, tax amounts, reports and GST returns before you rely on or file them.
- Check what AI bill reading or a bill file filled in before saving it. Machine reading can make mistakes.
- Keep the records the law requires you to keep, for as long as it requires.
- Enter only information you are allowed to collect and keep.
4. Connections between businesses
A medical store and a distributor can connect on Medalune to send orders and invoices. Each business decides whether to connect, and either can disconnect at any time. Orders and invoices exchanged remain in both businesses’ records. Prices, credit, delivery and payment between connected businesses are agreed between them; Medalune is not a party to that trade.
5. Trial, plans and payment
- New accounts may get a free trial. Plans, prices and what each includes are shown to you or agreed with you.
- Some features, such as AI bill reading, depend on your plan and may have daily or monthly limits.
- If a subscription is not paid, we may pause the account after notice. A paused account keeps working for a grace period, then becomes view-only: you can still see and download your records.
- Fees already paid are not refunded, except where the law requires it.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not use Medalune for anything unlawful, including the illegal sale of medicines.
- Do not try to access other businesses’ data, disrupt the service, or copy or resell Medalune.
7. Your data
The records your business keeps in Medalune belong to your business. You can download them at any time. We use them only to provide Medalune, as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep Medalune available and to back up data every day, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. Billing can continue offline and syncs when the connection is back. We may improve or change features; we will give notice before removing something important you rely on.
9. Pausing or closing an account
You can stop using Medalune at any time. We may pause or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, or that remains unpaid, after giving notice where we reasonably can. You will have a chance to download your records.
10. Liability
Medalune is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. We will first try to resolve any dispute by talking with you. If that does not work, the courts of India with jurisdiction will decide.
12. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will show a notice in Medalune before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Medalune after that means you accept the change.
13. Contact
Questions about these terms: contact the Medalune team through the support contact shown in the app.
